Michigan Football Manager Scholarship

Michigan Men and Women,

We are pleased to inform you that the Michigan Football Manager Scholarship has been created. This scholarship was kick started by donations from four great Michigan Men who have committed a total of $100,000 to this effort. The University has also committed to contributing $25,000 to the fund over the course of the next five years. Below are a few more details on the scholarship and how you can contribute to it. Our goal is to reach $1,000,000 or more in donations.

-       The Michigan Football Manager Scholarship is an endowed fund. This means that each year, 4.5 percent of the amount in the fund will be dispersed amongst the scholarship recipients.

-       The recipients of this scholarship will be Michigan Football Managers who are upper classmen and have been part of the program for at least 2 years. The Director of Football operations will be responsible for selecting the individuals who will receive the scholarship.

-       You can contribute to the fund by visiting this link. This allows for you to submit a one time or recurring gift of your designation.

-       Mailing a check to the Athletic Department is another way you can contribute to the fund. Please include the funds name and number (“Football Manager’s Scholarship Fund – 796479”) on the check. The mailing address is:

Athletic Department
University of Michigan

1000 South State Street
Ann Arbor, MI 48109-2201

-       All gifts will be considered official donations to the University and therefore count towards priority points.

We appreciate your support in growing this fund and supporting the Michigan Football Managers.

Go Blue,

Jon Stribley and David Lakin
